I believe in the power of Talk Therapy

I believe that we must be like Steal! We must always be prepared to change your shape just like steal. Steal is always going through different forms in life, different temperatures, different struggles. Always being forced to reshape and mold to the new environment. Being able to adapt to change is how you will survive the disappointments and storms of life. Sometimes these changes are not always easy to accept, but often you will find that the new shape you create is just as rewarding as the old shape, just in different ways. So, when the time comes to change your shape and become something new, remember that you are just like Steel and you will not break. You will become something new, you will learn from the changes, and you will emerge better, smarter, and stronger than before (Algonquin’s College President Cheryl Jensen).

I want to be part of the process that helps you change your shape, take your strength to places unknown to the conscious awareness that exists within you. I want to be part of Your Self-Development and Growth team!

Do you experience sadness, anxiety, such intense emotions that sometimes you feel like your life is getting out of control? Do you cry often and feel insecure about your relationships? Was there a moment in time when you wished things were different? Is motivation hard to find? Is anger a big part of your reality right now? Have you been taken advantage of by someone with narcissistic personality traits? Do you feel like there is no hope?

I will be here with you every single step of the way. You will get from a point of being unable to communicate because of your emotions and thoughts - to a point where your can be heard clearly, with clear boundaries and solutions. With a Solution-Focused Therapeutic Intervention, together, we will examine the patterns of behaviour, the triggers the Pavlovian responses that have, up to now, resulted in automatic responses that have not been functional or healthy. Let's turn them around together.

Is your self-esteem low? Do you experience anger? I offer psychotherapeutic services that cater to adults and couples. My work stems from a behavioural, interpersonal, and spiritual approach. Together, we will work through the anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, behavioural habits that may be contributing to the anxiety, personality traits that may be causing some depression and confusion, among other things.

Psychotherapy                   Couples Therapy               Individual Therapy

I have had the pleasure of working at the Center for Childhood Trauma and Sexual Abuse (CTSACT). During this experience, I learned a lot about childhood trauma and its effect on the person on a long-term basis. I was able to practice therapeutic skills that have led to peace of mind in many of my clients up to this point. I have been able to see the transformative power of psychotherapy, which has affirmed my belief in it even further.

I am a clinical member of the College for Registered Psychotherapists and the Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association. I work with different modalities including Psychoanalysis, Mindfulness CBT, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Applied Behavioural Analysis under the supervision of Dr. Dino Zuccarini C. Psych, and Natalie Charron RP, MA. at the Center for Interpersonal Relationships.

I run several workshops throughout the year. Psychoeducation is a big part of my practice as I believe in spreading knowledge as a way of empowering others.
